Aside from the additional uses, how do they perform as diapers?
Didn’t buy for a baby nor do I plan to wear them myself. . . ha ha! But they’re excellent for waxing a new car!
I, personally, am not using these as diapers. We use these in our house as burp rags. When we adopted our daughter, I went to the local discount store for washable diapers and bought the only package they sold. What a disappointment! They are thin and gauzy – almost like flour sack towels. In talking with older family members who had raised myself and my husband, they told us that when we were raised cloth washable diapers were nothing like this. So I began to scour the internet looking for the elusive cloth washable diaper that would be gentle to my precious daughter’s face and yet absorbant enough to wipe up an entire bottle’s worth of spit-up. I found them here! These are the absolute best I have found anywhere. They are soft and completely absorbant. Even after washing in regular detergent WITH bleach, they are incredibly soft and do not hurt my daughter’s delicate skin. These are so wonderful that I have purchased them for all of my friends who have had or are having babies, and will be the number one gift I will give from now on.
I don’t use these for diapers, but I do use them for EVERYTHING else! My son has one at his side all day long!! He loves to snuggle into it!! Helps his fall asleep, they are soooo soft & cuddly, I want to sleep with them too!! They wash well also, they don’t shrink, and I wash them 2-3 x’s a week! Great for mopping up spills, spit up, drool. Wonderful product, highly recommended!
Cloth diapers are the way to go for burp cloths. No clue how to use these as actual diapers, but we find these to be indispensible for our twins.
