These are great! After reading the other awesome reviews, I took previous recommendations and fold these in thirds for my 11mo son and it allows the kushies to last atleast as long as a disposable would! FYI--also you should know that when I put my son in a disposable while doing a load of the diapers in the wash he immediately gets a diaper rash so it proves this purchase was the best one and how awful the chemicals are in disposables!

We have a septic system, so we couldn't use the flushable liners. These are even better for overnight diapers and are quite easy to wash.

These diaper doublers are paper thin. They absorb very little as they are 100% cotton. I don't really see the point in this product. It serves no purpose as a liner since its inefficiency to absorb (unlike microfiber), and cannot be used as a disposable/flushable liner.

Also, these DO STAIN.

It was given to us as a gift, and I am so sorry that money was wasted on this product.

First of all let me say that I don't think it's fair to expect any absorbency from a LINER. That's not what they are for AT ALL. It shouldn't even be listed as a con for this product. If you want something that helps your diaper absorb more than you need to get DOUBLERS. You can use some doublers as both liner and doubler. I would not use a microfiber doubler this way but you can safely use doublers that are made out of other material like hemp, bamboo or cotton. I have used imse vimse terry booster pads and baby kicks joey bunz as both doubler and liners and they work very well. However, I primarily desire liners. Nothing fancy, just simple liners that help protect the diaper from poo stains. Kushies seemed like a nice, affordable choice. Wrong!

These liners suck. I have to admit they do seem like sturdy cotton. But I barely use them so I don't know how many washes they withstand. Another reviewer says they look "bald" after awhile. If so then this product deserves 0 stars. I was very dismayed to see how NARROW and SHORT they are as soon as I got them out of the package. I washed them in cold water and air dried them and they shrank even more! I do expect some shrinkage no matter how you wash, but b/c the liners were so small to begin with, I was really bummed to see them even smaller.

I have a 1 year old. I know liners often don't protect ALL of the diaper, All of the time, as the child moves and wiggles around throughout the day. But these liners always leave so much of the diaper exposed to poo. They only protect the middle of the diaper, leaving MUCH uncovered. I can overlap two of these with better success, but they bunch up and seem very uncomfortable for my baby.

Perhaps these would work ok for a small, young baby in size small pocket diapers. But they are near useless in a large pocket diaper.

You don't save money when you by a cheap product you never use. I learned the hard way. Thankfully I have a few hemp babies liners and they work great. They are pricey but I use them over and over again b/c they are all I have that work and I have so few. You will definitely get your money's worth out of something that is bigger than these kushies. Just make sure what you get is sturdy. Hemp and Bamboo, though expensive are almost always very durable.

These are fairly small and thin but I personally like that because I can use a few of them for my older daughter for a doubler and I plan on using just one or two for the new baby when they are born and it should work great for both uses. This would also be a great liner to put on top of a pocket diaper if you wanted to start potty training to help them recognize when they are wet without buying all new diapers or adding something big and bulky. And of course they fit perfectly in the stuffing pocket of the Kushies diapers that they are made for.
