Have just gotten this, so don’t know how well it’s going to work or if it will cause any problems with the cloth diapers. . . the top label says “cloth diaper friendly”, so I’m hoping it’ll be good. It does smell super! And I love that it’s natural. I thought it was a lot of money for the size, but I think it’ll last quite awhile as you don’t need to use very much.
I have three kids and it sure seems like I’ve tested all the diaper creams out there. When I did find a cream/ointment that worked there was always a down side. For instance, with A+D I could not get the disgusting smell of it off my fingers no matter how well I washed my hands. It made eating very unappealing! Fortunately this ointment works VERY well and smells wonderful! I only wish I could find it locally. I sing it’s praises to all my mom friends!
I’ve been very happy with this cream. My twins are in cloth diapers and their skin is in very good condition. This takes care of the occasional flare up. My only complaint is that the tubes are small and go quickly. I usually by four at a time.
If you are debating about buying Grandma El’s– well, quit debating and just buy it! YOU WONT BE SORRY! My baby has super sensitive skin and Grandma El’s protects her better than anything else I have used AND it’s cloth dipe friendly! I never have to strip my dipes because if it. (Not even the BG 3. 0’s!)
Not as good as zinc cream for diaper rash, but a good everyday solution to keeping rash at bay & compatible w/ our bum genius diapers.
