I'd just like to start off this review by saying that my 2 month old son just took a massive dump and his diaper heroically retained ALL of it. I was using Huggies Pure and Natural before this and having blowouts and leaks nearly everyday. The Huggies diapers also cost double what the Earth's Best cost. When I first received these diapers, they didn't appear as luxurious and cushy as the Huggies, but even though they're thinner and more bare bones, they're somehow designed to hold more fluid. I think they have a higher waist and is more elastic which helps to wrap it all in. No more scrubbing out stains from his clothes! I plan to use this brand through and through!

I wanted a chlorine-free diaper and had been using 7th Generation, but I wasn't happy with the stiffness of those. These are much softer. Also, I recently used Pampers Swaddlers overnight when I was out of Earth's Best, and my 5 month old wet right through them by the middle of the night. He can make it until morning in Earth's Best. I really like these diapers, and we've tried them all!

We use the gDiaper exclusively during the day (and LOVE it), but wanted to find a great eco-diaper for emergencies, for the grandparents, and for use in the evening. I tested (with my son) and reviewed ingredients/characteristics of most of the eco-friendly brands including Nature Babycare, Huggies Pure & Natural, Seventh Generation, and Tushies Disposable Diapers. We found that Earth's Best Tendercare Diapers was the best in all categories including durability of holding the most wet and poopy diaper without blowouts, minimal diaper rash, eco-friendly disposable diaper made out of naturally absorbent material (corn and wheat), and the most cost effective at 40 cents per diaper (using Babies R Us pricing). We cut costs even further by ordering the Earths Best Tendercare Diapers through Amazon's Subscribe & Save getting the price down even further to approx. 35 cents each. The Subsribe & Save is a fantastic option for diapers, which we also use for our gDiaper refills, too.

These diapers are very stiff and just did not fit my daughter well at all. We could hardly wait to get through the pack so we could go back to 7th Generation Diapers.

These diapers are quite stiff, not soft. The tabs are not stretchy, run small, they leak!!!
I give them one star just because they are eco friendly.
I think 7th Generation does make a better diaper.
