It makes the redness on the bottom go away in a matter of hours, and it is all natural. We used it at the daycare and our son's teacher was so impressed she asked where she could get some for her daughter. I know it is expensive, but you don't need very much of it at all and, for us, it is worth it to avoid the red bottom. Our son has very sensitive skin - he can't use any commercial wipes - we only clean his bottom with water and the Angel Baby soap because it gets so red otherwise - and this doesn't irritate him at all. We also use it on cuts and scrapes, and a rash my husband had on his hand. Soothing and gentle. Highly recommend. We love this stuff.
