I purchased this set thinking that the covers would be a sort of vinyl to help keep the fluids from leaking through the diaper to whatever the doll might be on. The covers seem a little tight on the doll and do not do much to aid in absorption. It is a cute set, but not really very useful. I would not purchase it again.
